Week Two with Asad

My phone and I have not yet agreed on how to take photos of horses. I wanted a telephoto shot and I got a bit of a blur this morning instead. I’m still posting the photo because this morning is the first morning Asad answered when I whistled to let him know I was on my way with his breakfast.

The first few days,he hid out at the sound of my voice and skittered off when I walked past to pick up his breakfast. He would stand at the door to his stall and stare when I dropped his hay into his feeder. He has been getting calmer day by day. But enthusiastic socializing changes the whole foundation of our interactions.
