I’m Feeling Like a Real Author Now

Yes, I have received a Winnie Award for one of my Light in the Saddle horse training books.

And I should have realized I was writing outside the box when my publisher for my horse series ghosted me. I am beginning to realize my work is leading edge because at least two sites that publish academic papers have been inviting me to join and see who has been citing my work. I have lost track of how many invitations I have received, but the number of citations is now well over 100.

But what really made me feel like an author was seeing that my e-books had been acquired by and loaned out by an actual LIBRARY! Librarians are the guardians and the gardeners of civilization, so I am honored to be included in their collections.
